The Four Veterans of SSXby ~ManyLines

Since I heard about the new SSX I really really wanted to make a drawing of the characters, first I wanted only to draw my two favorite characters, Mac and Kaori but then I thought why not my four favorite characters; Mac Fraser, Kaori Nishidake, Zoe Payne and Griff Simmons. But I waited when all the veterans were revealed, Griff was the last to be revealed as a veteran, but now I dislike Griff and like Elise Riggs even more (compared to the past games) and now I have drawn the four who appeared in every game of the series.

It was really hard to draw the characterstic signs of them, like Elise's sexiness and confidental look, Zoe's rough personality and Mac's sturdy attitude. As for Kaori She became a lil'bit darker' in the game but I either did like it somehow in a way, still I changed some things about her so we can still recoqnize the previous Kaori with the mix of the 'still-awesome' new Kaori; I gave back her smile, pigtail and her victory/peach sign she always did. I also have written her name in Hiragana on her headphone...just for a little add^^

The color of those protectors on Zoe were actually pink in the concept art of SSX but I changed it to red because that was more her theme color ánd it suited her more too. I also did their theme colors in their lineart.

I've drawn them in the order when they were revealed on Facebook; Elise, Mac, Kaori and then Zoe. When I started with Elise I already knew I didn't want to draw the lower body of the characters, so I 'stopped' the lineart with their arms.

Mac and Kaori always have been my favorites and coincidentally they (really) like each other that's why they are facing eacch other as well^^ As for Zoe it was supposed be that she was drawn in the opposite way because she and Elise are like rivals (I think) and thus go against each other, but it was kinda hard to draw in the opposite way so I didn't do it...

I'm not good at drawin hands and faces so....

If they re did the first two games into two disks (first one would be the world tour series and the second one the mountain tours) that would be fucking awesome.

and I really love what they have done tot he characters for the new game, they look just about right for what they should look like after on tour. I wonder if anyone else agrees with me that Blur is non canon.
